Dr. Tracey Chesser-Murphy obtained her medical degree from the Université Laval in 1996, before completing both her family medicine residency and emergency medicine residency at McGill University.

Dr. Chesser-Murphy holds a certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (Emergency Medicine) and is a certified advanced trauma life support (ATLS) instructor. She is also an assistant professor of Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine at Dalhousie University.
