Patients return to Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Perth-Andover

(HORIZON) April 25, 2014 - News Alert - All patients from Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph's Hospital in Perth-Andover will be transferred back from the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville this morning.

Last week, patients were successfully evacuated from Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph's after Horizon Health Network temporarily closed the facility. The decision was made as a precaution due to rising flood waters and the possibility of the facility becoming isolated without a safe method of egress.

Family members of the affected patients have been notified. Patients or family members with questions or concerns may contact 506-273-7100 for more information.

Horizon thanks the staff and physicians at Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph's, Upper River Valley Hospital, Ambulance New Brunswick and the Emergency Measures Organization for their professionalism in handling this situation.
