Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Perth-Andover Reopens Today
(HORIZON) April 22, 2014 - Public Service Announcement - In light of the voluntary evacuation order for Perth-Andover being lifted, Horizon Health Network is pleased to announce that services at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital (HDSJ) will resume today. The Hospital had been closed since the evening of April 16 due to rising flood waters.
The Emergency Department reopened at 8 a.m. this morning. Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, ECG and Rehabilitation services will also resume this morning. Registration and scheduling clerks will be onsite today to facilitate re-bookings.
Oncology patients with appointments scheduled for today should proceed to Upper River Valley Hospital (URVH) for treatment. Horizon is working with Ambulance New Brunswick to return patients who were evacuated to URVH last week to HDSJ on April 23.
Horizon thanks the community and staff and physicians for their support and patience during this difficult time. Patients or community members with questions or concerns may contact 506-273-7100 for more information.
