ALERT --- Hôtel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital temporarily closed
(PERTH-ANDOVER) March 23, 2012 - To ensure the health and safety of patients, the Hôtel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital in Perth-Andover will be temporarily closed due to the impact of flooding from the St. John River.
Ambulance New Brunswick is working with hospital staff to safely evacuate the hospital's 21 patients to the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, Grand Falls General Hospital, Victoria Glen Manor, and home under the care of the Extra Mural Program until further notice. The patients being transferred are in stable condition. Family of patients will be advised of their relocation and can call 375-5900 for further information.
Individuals requiring emergency services are to call 9-1-1. All outpatient scheduled appointments at the Hotel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital have been cancelled until further notice and will be rescheduled.
