Emergency Department and Other Services to Re-open
(PERTH-ANDOVER) June 8, 2012 - Horizon Health Network is pleased to announce the following services will be available at Hôtel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital on Monday, June 18: Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory testing, Therapeutic and Inpatient services.

"Horizon's priority is the health and safety of its patients and staff and we are committed to maintaining high quality standards in health-care delivery."
Obstetrics and surgical services will resume later this summer after necessary renovations are completed.
The following information details the restoration of departmental services:
Emergency Services- Emergency services will resume at 8 a.m. on June 18.
Diagnostic Imaging Services- General radiology will resume at 8 a.m. on June 18.
Laboratory testing- The testing of blood and other specimen collections will resume on June 18.
Therapeutic Services- Services including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Nutrition, Respiratory Therapy and Speech Language Pathology will resume on June 18. Patients will be contacted directly with their appointment information.
Inpatient services- Twenty hospital beds will open. Patients from the Grand Falls Hospital will be transferred to the Hôtel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital on June 18 and from the Upper River Valley Hospital on June 19. Family of patients will be advised of their relocation and can call 273-7100 for further information. Horizon Health Network will continue to provide regular updates on services provided in Perth-Andover.
