Queens North Community Health Centre hosts Harvest Fest 2016 on September 17
(FREDERICTON) September 12, 2016 - The Queens North Community Health Centre (QNCHC) in Minto will host its eighth annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
With the slogan Health Grows Here, organizers have planned activities for children and adults alike. Enjoy pumpkin and face painting, bouncy castles, crafts, community booths, free food and much more. Biking enthusiasts are invited to take their helmets and bikes in for a checkup at the Mountain Bike Clinic and take a spin in the Harvest Fest bike rally.
Harvest Fest is a community event promoting healthy lifestyles and QNCHC/community programs and services. In addition to the focus on fun and fitness, staff from the centre will share important wellness resources on subjects including stress relief, recreational involvement and mental well-being.
QNCHC is a facility that provides primary health care services, illness/injury prevention, chronic disease management and community development services, using a population health promotion approach.
