Horizon Health Network (Horizon) leads the way in bringing innovation and efficiencies to deliver sustainable, affordable, safe, and quality health-care services to residents of New Brunswick, northern Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. One of the largest employers in New Brunswick with an operating budget of over $1 billion, Horizon operates 12 hospitals and more than 100 medical facilities, clinics, and offices providing services including health promotion, disease prevention, mental health, extramural services, community primary care, and hospital secondary and tertiary services. Horizon's team of approximately 12,400 staff, 1,000 physicians, 5,700 volunteers, 17 Foundations, and 18 Auxiliary and Alumnae organizations offer care and services in English and French.

As President and CEO, you will report directly to the Board of Directors in leading, overseeing, and managing the delivery of services and will work closely with the Department of Health and Vitalité Health Network in advancing the vision and delivery of New Brunswick's health system. Accountable for the development of strategic vision, the Regional Health Plan and business and budget plans, you will ensure that Horizon delivers health care that meets the population's needs based on best available evidence. Your leadership will be directed at ensuring a seamless, efficient, and efficacious continuum of health services for the region supported by an engaged workforce and strong collaborative relationships with community, regional, and provincial stakeholders.

An accomplished leader with experience within the broad health sector, you bring significant executive acumen to lead this complex and diverse network organization. You have a strong understanding and orientation to systems thinking, use evidence and data to guide your decisions, and are comfortable and skilled at working with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals and staff in a matrixed team context. You are comfortable leading in a broadly accountable context and capable of being an effective ambassador and representative for the organization.
