Biography - Gail McLaughlin
Gail McLaughin worked in nursing homes for 20 years, first as a Health Care Aid, then as an activity director. She later worked with adults with developmental delays in a special care home.
Much of her patient advisory experience comes from assisting family and friends with their health care needs. Among others, she's cared for a brother with a Schizophrenic disorder and a friend who spent time in hospitals from Saint John to Halifax.
Gail has an Office Technology Diploma from New Brunswick Community College (St. Andrews Campus), and is taking Local Government courses from Dalhousie University. She's also completed a course in Citizen Engagement and Consultation.
Gail is an administrative/executive assistant at Saint Andrews Town Hall.
