Biography - Faustina (Tena) McLellan, RN
Faustina (Tena) McLellan, RN, has a Diploma in Nursing from The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and Masters in Public Administration from Carleton University in Ottawa. She's also earned a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) designation from the Healthcare Quality Certification Board and a Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation from the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
She was a nurse at two hospitals in the nation's capital before working in consulting and corporate positions in other facilities, including Director of Corporate Services at the Salvation Army Grace Hospital and Director of Quality & Patient Safety at the Ottawa Hospital. She's served as administrator of River View Manor Inc., in Bath, New Brunswick, and has ten years' experience as an Accreditation Canada surveyor.
Since retiring, Tena has volunteered with the Upper River Valley Hospital, the Town of Hartland and the Hartland Baptist Church, and serves as chair of the Simonds LSD.
